Frequently Asked Questions
Q. How long is your contract term?
A. BRI's typical contract is for a period of 24 months, but there is a difference between BRI and the company you are currently using. Our customers can cancel the contract at any time with 90-day notice. We do not believe that it is good business to force customers to stay with a service. Instead we do everything we can to make a customer want to stay. In our 13 years of business we have never had a customer give a 90-day notice.
Q. What information do you need, so we can start your service?
A. As with everything else we do, we try to make it as simple as we can. It rarely takes more than 5 minutes on the phone. There are about 10 questions we need answered and all of them are related to your location and your needs.
Q. Can we call you when we need a pickup?
A. Most definitely. Please remember that our regularly scheduled customers will receive first priority. Call in customers will be services as quickly as we can possibly schedule them.
Q. What if we don't need a pickup?
A. We are the only company that allows our customers to cancel a pickup with no charge. This is, of course, contingent on the customer giving us at least 24-hour notice so that we can reroute the truck.
Q. How can you be so much less expensive than your competition?
A. I hate to say it, but it is because we are better. Our processing is approximately 25% more efficient, we utilize smaller vehicles with fuel saving enhancements, alternative energy provides energy savings, and we don't have huge overhead.
Q. Can we use a smaller container than 44 gallons?
A. BRI supplies numerous size containers for our customers. We are sure that there is one that is right for you.
Q. How often do you schedule us for a pickup?
A. We don't! You decide the frequency and you only pay for the pickups we make, not a monthly charge like other companies. We do inform all of our customers that regulations require that you have a pickup at least every 90 days.
Q. Do we need to pay at the time of pickup?
A. This is never a normal requirement. You will be billed monthly.
Q. Do you take credit cards?
A. Not at this time.
